Kurri Kurri Community Centre Inc

CFN is a group of people who are, or have been, carer to a person with Dementia and choose to enjoy the support of a Carers' group.

CFN meets one Wednesday per calendar month. One month, everyone meets at the Community Centre and sometimes a Workshop/Guest Speaker is organised . Meetings at the Centre will be for workshops and/or guest speakers that meet the information needs of Carers and in particular the CFN group. These mornings will also be for morning tea and a chat with other Carers. There is no charge on these days. The group meets from 10am-12 midday.

The next month is a social outing. The CFN group will decide, the month before, where they would like to go for their Social Outing. The outing will be arranged & a flyer will be posted out to you with details.

The CFN members will pay for their own meals while out. There is also a nominal fee for the bus. Members would meet at Kurri Kurri Community Centre and would be returned to the centre at the end of the outing. Details of time & costs will be in the flyer.

A calendar of dates will be posted out in January to all participants who are on our list. There will be eleven set dates on the calendar, these will include an invitation to the Melbourne Cup Day activities, held at Kurri Kurri Community Centre, and also to our Christmas Party.
