Kurri Kurri Community Centre Inc

This program aims to provide social opportunities to clients receiving services within Lower Hunter Dementia Options projects.

Our aim is to give respite to Carers and to give Social Support to people living alone with dementia.

The case manager will make arrangements for a person to attend the group where it appears some social opportunities would be welcomed by a client

Cruisers Club meets on the 1st Monday and 3rd Tuesday per calendar month.

Morning tea and lunch are included. Many activities include chat, craft, music, movies and an occasional outing.

Participants are dropped off at KKCC by family/carers or Transport can be arranged with contract carers, for clients who wish to attend Cruisers.

Program starts at 10am and ends at 2pm.

Clients will be phoned on the day to confirm attendance.

A calendar of dates will be posted out in January to all participants who are on our list. There will be eleven set dates on the calendar, these will include an invitation to the Melbourne Cup Day activities, held at Kurri Kurri Community Centre, and also to our Christmas Party.
