The OSHC Childcare Worker Casual – is a team member, who supports the Coordinator and other Staff in the decisions and daily operations of the service.
Essential Criteria:
Knowledge / Understanding of children 5-12 years.
Ability to work as a member of a team or independently.
Multi-cultural and disability experience / awareness.
Understanding of the current Child Protection Act.
Willingness to commit to the Philosophy of the centre.
Maintain service confidentiality.
Desirable Criteria:
Certificate III or higher in Children's Services.
Experience working with children 5-12 years.
Competency in computer skills.
Understanding of family and child dynamics.
OH & S Knowledge.
Understanding of outside School Care Quality Assurance Practices guide.
Conflict resolution skills.
Behaviour Management skills.
E.E.O. principles apply.
Relevant criminal record check will be carried out on the successful applicant
