Kurri Youth Centre offers young people aged between 12 and 18 a safe space within their community. The centre offers young people a diverse range of structured and semi-structured activities, outings and social opportunities.

The Youth Centre is under the auspice of Kurri Kurri Community Centre funded by the Department of Community Services.

The Centre provides an opportunity for young people to participate in activities and outings, which they may normally, not experience.

The following is an outline of some of the services offered:

• Drop in Session
• General Life skills training
• Excursions (Educational and entertainment purposes)
• Entertainment (Pool comp, skate comp, Movies, etc)
• Refferals

The Youth Centre encourages young people to be responsible for their behaviour and actions by rewarding positive behaviour, good communication and providing opportunities for young people to make valuable contributions to their community.
